Konker wins Exeter Chamber Business Award

We’re thrilled to share that we’ve been named the winner of the Business Award at the Exeter Chamber Impact Awards.

This award recognises organisations making a positive impact on the Greater Exeter business community through innovation, collaboration, and leadership.

At Konke, which includes Konker Recruitment, Konker Media, and The Konkering Pod – we’re passionate about building lasting relationships, providing a platform for local voices, and creating career opportunities across the region.

Founded almost seven years ago, we’ve grown from a recruitment agency into a multi-faceted business that supports companies across the Built Environment, Engineering & Technical, Sales & Marketing, and Events sectors. From graduates to directors, we help businesses across Exeter and beyond grow their teams strategically with a personal, people-first approach.

But our work doesn’t stop at recruitment.

We launched Konker Media to help South West businesses tell their stories through high-quality, authentic video content. From employer branding films to promotional videos.

In 2024, we also expanded into podcasting with The Konkering Pod, a platform giving local entrepreneurs, creatives, and business leaders the space to share their stories. With over 20,000 views across YouTube and Spotify, the podcast has featured standout guests like Maddie Difazio-Wright (Chair of Women in Property), whose episode has gained over 2 million views on TikTok.
