Working alongside experienced Electrical Engineers, you’ll gain exposure to every stage of the design process while developing the technical skills needed to become a successful Building Services Electrical Engineer.

About the Consultancy
With a growing workload and an impressive portfolio of projects across hotels, residential developments, logistics facilities, utilities and care homes, this consultancy has built long-standing relationships with clients throughout Yorkshire and the North of England.

Working within a close-knit team of experienced engineers, you’ll have direct access to senior decision-makers, gain exposure to every stage of the design process and receive ongoing mentoring from experienced Building Services professionals. The business is continuing to grow steadily, creating excellent opportunities for ambitious graduates looking to build a long-term career.

The Role
Working alongside the Director, Principal Engineers and wider Electrical team, you’ll support the design and delivery of Electrical Building Services projects from concept through to completion.

You’ll be involved in producing electrical designs, attending site visits, working alongside clients and consultants, and developing your technical knowledge across a broad range of commercial projects. You’ll gain hands-on experience from day one while working towards managing your own projects as your career develops.

What We’re Looking For
– A degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Power Systems Engineering or a closely related Electrical Engineering discipline
– A genuine interest in Building Services Design and the built environment
– Knowledge of electrical building services design principles would be advantageous
– Experience with AutoCAD, Revit or similar engineering software would be beneficial
– A positive attitude, strong communication skills and a desire to develop a successful career within Building Services Design
