The Client:
  
Based out of their central London office, this business is known across the UK and the rest of the world, they’ve organised exhibitions, summits and conferences for almost two decades. With that in mind, they certainly know what they’re doing and have won plenty of awards during their time!
  
They specialise in arranging pre-qualified 1-2-1 style meetings between c-suite executives and buyers and sellers across a multitude of sectors. They also host conferences to discuss key industry topics with these high-level individuals.
  
The Position:
  
As a Delegate Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for driving delegate sales yourself, whilst supporting, managing and developing a small team.
  
This business offers in-depth training to equip you with the correct skills to ensure you can deliver the best possible results and continue your career development. The business is continually growing and with that, there are plenty of progression opportunities.
  
You’ll have the opportunity to work with lapsed clients, current clients and forge new relationships with the aim to sell delegate tickets.
  
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, ambitious and knows sales, from a delegate background. Someone who has smashed their targets out of the park and now wants to step up into a managerial role. Or perhaps, you’re already in this type of role but not in the right environment.
  
This role is hybrid, with three days a week in the office.
  
About you:
  
We’re looking for someone coming from a delegate sales role who knows how to generate new business, close sales and build relationships. Someone who isn’t shy of KPI’s and wants to progress their career. Someone who can manage both a team and their own sales pipeline, a people person who can lead and motivate others.
  

  • 2-3 years of delegate sales experience
  • Ambitious, Driven and Motivated
  • Experienced in both new and repeat business
  • Experience selling B2B conferences, 1-2-1 or exhibitions
  • Extensive knowledge of the event industry.
  • Drive to succeed and learn
