Apply nowKonker is working with a small, well-established architectural practice based in Newbury that is looking to bring in a Part 2 Architectural Assistant to support its continued growth.
This is a close-knit team of 10people, delivering high-quality residential projects within roughly a 45-mile radius.
They’ve built a strong reputation for thoughtful, client-focused design and are particularly passionate about sustainable architecture, including Passivhaus principles.
You’ll be working closely with homeowners on bespoke projects, giving you real exposure and responsibility early on. This is a role for someone who enjoys the personal side of architecture as much as the design side. You’ll be involved across all RIBA stages, supporting and developing your skills within a collaborative environment.
You’ll be given trust and autonomy from the start, with the chance to work one-to-one with clients and contribute meaningfully to projects. The practice offers mentoring and support, particularly around developing your design and technical skills.

Salary & Benefits
- £28,000 – £32,000 (depending on experience)
