About the opportunity
This consultancy provides mechanical and electrical building services design, net zero carbon, and responsible building advice for a wide range of developments including commercial, offices, industrial, residential and private medical projects. They have earned themselves a great reputation for their services and high-quality output.

This is an employee-owned business with a multi-disciplined team of 38 engineers/consultants. They’re in an amazing, city centre location office which has recently been refurbished, so a great place to be! Also offering an element of flexible working! They are looking for a Senior or Principal Mechanical Engineer to hit the ground running and complement their current team.

 Responsibilities:

  • Design of commercial, industrial, medical, leisure, retail, extra care homes, residential and mixed-use schemes etc.
  • Direct client and external team liaison on technical issues.
  • Project management & general co-ordination.
  • Encouraging the use of sustainable design.
  • Senior – helping graduates/junior engineers. Principal – leading a small team.

What are they looking for:

  • Around 5+ years’ Building Services experience.
  • Chartered or working towards.
  • Revit, AutoCAD and ideally IES experience.
  • Ability to run own jobs and prioritize workload effectively.
