Architect

Konker is recruiting for an Architect to join a well-established, multi-disciplinary practice based on the outskirts of Bradford Upon Avon. 

They are willing to consider an Architect on a part-time (3 days) or full-time basis. 
 
The studio delivers architectural and building surveying services across residential and commercial projects, covering everything from early concept through to delivery and contract administration.
 
The practice has been operating for over 50 years and remains independently run, with a close-knit team of around 11 people. They’ve built a strong local reputation and continue to secure a steady pipeline of work across nearby towns and cities, typically within 1-2 hours of the office.
 
You’ll be involved in measured surveys, planning and technical drawings, and detailed design work, with a good working knowledge of UK Building Regulations.
 
Projects span residential and commercial sectors, and site visits form a key part of the role, so a full UK driving licence and access to a car are essential.
 
This opportunity would suit an experienced Architect who enjoys a hands-on role, values variety in their projects, and brings a practical, inquisitive approach to design and problem-solving. Flexible working is available, with both full-time and part-time options considered.
 
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000, depending on experience.
