I’m recruiting for a multi-disciplinary property + construction consultancy with a long track record in the UK, built around a simple idea: improve the communities people live and work in.

The role: Senior Structural Engineer

You’ll be the go-to engineer on a mix of small to medium projects (up to ~£50m), with a strong weighting towards:

• Structural / condition surveys, inspections, defect diagnosis and report writing.
• Intrusive + non-intrusive investigations and practical remediation advice.
• Design solutions across masonry, timber, RC and steel, plus foundations/basements where needed.
• Working with clients and design teams to keep scopes, deliverables and fees clear.
• You’ll be out on site across London and the South East, so strong written English and confidence dealing with stakeholders matters.

What’s needed for the role?

• Chartered Structural Engineer (IStructE or ICE)
• Strong understanding of building construction + UK regs
• Comfortable owning workstreams independently, while still being a team player
• Solid experience with existing buildings, surveys, inspections and reports (this is key)

Note: Some projects may require DBS and/or security clearance (BPSS / CTC / SC / DV).
