Salary: £32,000-£45,000

Want to work on residential projects with more design input, more variety and more ownership?

A growing RIBA-chartered practice in York is looking to add an Architect to its team. It’s a family-run business with a strong reputation for bespoke homes, refurbishments, conservation work and selected commercial projects across Yorkshire and the North.

This would suit an Architect with at least 2 years’ post-Part III experience who wants to build on solid residential project work and get involved in a broader mix of schemes.

You’ll join a team of architects, designers and technologists working closely together from concept through to completion, so there’s good exposure and a clear chance to keep developing.

You’ll be involved in high-end residential, housing, conservation and commercial projects, supporting design development, planning applications, technical packages and project delivery.

The role: Architect

• Producing design and technical drawing packages
• Supporting projects through planning, technical design and delivery
• Preparing planning applications and Building Regulations information
• Working closely with clients, consultants and internal teams
• Making sure designs meet current Building Regulations and technical standards
• Attending site inspections and supporting project running, depending on your experience
