An established architecture practice with a national footprint is hiring an Architectural Technologist for its Northamptonshire studio.

Broad sector portfolio, a long-standing reputation across the UK, and the kind of technical role where you’ll be trusted to run your own packages and see projects through from design into delivery.

You’ll produce technical design and construction information across live projects, working with the design team and coordinating with consultants, contractors and clients through the technical stages.

The Architectural Technologist role, day to day:

• Producing detailed design and technical drawing packages across live projects.
• Coordinating with architects, engineers, surveyors, contractors and clients on the technical side.
• Applying UK Building Regulations, standards and CDM requirements as part of the day job.
• Managing project delivery through the technical and construction stages.
• Working across a broad sector mix (education, healthcare, heritage, residential and more).

What we’re looking for in this Architectural Technologist:

• Relevant qualifications (CIAT or similar) and a few years of UK practice experience.
• Strong Revit skills across technical delivery.
• Solid working knowledge of UK Building Regulations and the technical side of live projects.
• A collaborative team player comfortable working across disciplines.
• Broad sector experience welcomed; interest in variety is a bigger asset here than narrow specialism.
