Architect – Birmingham | £37,000-£42,000 

An established Birmingham architecture practice is hiring an Architect who can pick up live projects and take them through delivery. Technical, practical, buildability-focused. The kind of role where you’ll be spending more time in Revit and on drawing packages than on concept sketches.

The work spans multiple sectors, including large-scale industrial, energy-from-waste, residential, and commercial. Sector variety within a technically demanding remit.

This is a practice that takes conceptual designs and makes them buildable. If you’re an architect who cares about seeing projects reach the ground, this could be a strong fit.

The Architect role, day to day:

• Producing and delivering detailed design and technical packages in Revit.
• Coordinating with contractors, consultants and the wider design team to keep schemes moving on site.
• Applying practical, buildability-led judgement to design decisions.
• Working across multiple sectors depending on project mix.
• Supporting senior staff on live jobs, with the confidence to run your own work as you’re ready for it.

What we’re looking for in an Architect:

• ARB registered, RIBA Part 3 qualified.
• A few years of UK post-qualification experience, with a solid delivery track record.
• Strong Revit skills across live project stages.
• Genuine technical and buildability chops. This is a practical practice, not a concept-first studio.
• Sector experience in industrial, energy-from-waste, residential or commercial work would be useful.
• Confident on the technical side, not just concept and planning.
