Junior Architectural Technician

Konker is recruiting for a Junior Architectural Technician to join an established RIBA-chartered architectural practice in Leeds.
 
With around 80 people across the business and approximately 30 based in Leeds, the practice offers a multidisciplinary environment with plenty of opportunity to develop your technical skills and progress your career.
 
You’ll become part of the close-knit Energy team with 9 others and initially, you’ll focus on EV charging infrastructure projects including installations at existing petrol forecourts. This will involve coordinating and producing drawing packages across multiple sites, working with drainage, electrical services and below-ground infrastructure.
 
Projects are currently delivered using AutoCAD, with potential opportunities to develop your Revit skills through future work, including a significant modular programme. 
 
As your experience grows, there’s also scope to become more client-facing, with greater involvement in programme and project management.
 
You’ll ideally have a relevant qualification in Architectural Technology or a related subject, alongside a willingness to learn and develop. Some knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit and building regulations would be beneficial, with support and training available to help you build your technical experience.
