A long-established Birmingham architecture practice is hiring a Part 2 Architectural Assistant. An award-winning portfolio, a varied workload across public and private sector projects, and a studio set up to develop Part 2s through to Part 3.

You’ll work alongside experienced architects on live schemes, with the variety to get a strong, mixed grounding rather than getting pigeonholed early. A design-led culture, with the kind of studio that backs creativity over conformity.

What you’ll be doing as a Part 2 Architectural Assistant in Birmingham:

• Supporting project teams across RIBA stages, from concept and feasibility through to technical and on-site work.
• Producing drawings, design development work, and presentation material.
• Getting involved in client meetings, site visits, and design reviews early on.
• Building solid understanding of design, technical and legislative requirements.

• RIBA Part 2 (or completing it imminently), with the intention of working towards Part 3.
• A strong design eye and confidence as a communicator.
• Good with industry-standard software (Revit, AutoCAD, and the usual design tools).
