Architectural Technologist

A design-led, multidisciplinary practice is seeking an Architectural Technologist with 2–5 years’ post-qualification experience to join its Bristol team.

This is a great opportunity to develop your technical and delivery skills within a supportive and collaborative studio environment.

You will work across a diverse range of projects, contributing to the production of technical information and supporting project delivery. The role offers strong opportunities for professional development within a multidisciplinary team.

The salary range for this position is £28,000 – £35,000 depending on experience. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce accurate technical drawings and construction information
• Assist in resolving design and technical challenges
• Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants
• Contribute to specifications, material selection, and detailed design
• Ensure compliance with UK regulations and industry standards
• Support coordination across multiple projects where required

About You – Architectural Technologist:

• Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Architectural Technology
• 2–5 years’ relevant UK experience
• Good understanding of construction methods and detailing
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
• Proactive, organised, and keen to learn

Desirable:

• Experience using Revit and BIM processes
• Knowledge of NBS and specification writing
• Experience coordinating consultants and managing workload across projects
