Interior Designer

Konker is on the lookout for a talented Middleweight or Senior Interior Designer with a minimum of three years’ residential experience to join a close-knit team in the South Oxfordshire countryside.

This is an opportunity to join a family-run design studio bringing together architecture, interior architecture, joinery, build and interior decoration. They  design thoughtful, characterful homes, with projects across the UK, Europe and the USA.

Working closely with the directors and wider team, you’ll be involved in projects from concept through to installation, combining creative design with practical coordination and styling.

The role:

• Developing design concepts, schemes and presentations.
• Sourcing and specifying FF&E, including furniture, lighting, fabrics and accessories.
• Producing drawings and presentations using AutoCAD, InDesign and Photoshop.
• Liaising with clients, suppliers, artisans and contractors.
• Supporting site visits, installations and final styling.
• Contributing to layouts, joinery details and interior architecture.

About you:

• 3+ years’ residential interior design experience.
• Strong FF&E knowledge and experience with high-end suppliers.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop and Microsoft Office.
• Strong technical experience and construction knowledge.
• Excellent organisation, attention to detail and communication skills.
• A practical, hands-on approach and genuine enthusiasm for interiors.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car.

The salary range for this role is £35,000 – £50,000 depending on experience.
