Technical Coordinator / Design Manager

We’re recruiting for a technical coordination role with a leading architecture practice, working alongside a prominent main contractor. You’ll gain hands-on delivery experience on a complex construction project, with scope to build relationships that could lead to further opportunities.

You’ll work on site near Market Harborough Tuesday to Thursday, with Monday and Friday working from home. The role is 37.5 hours per week, with an immediate start preferred.

Your focus will be on helping the site team turn design information into workable construction details. You’ll coordinate subcontractor packages, resolve technical queries and keep information moving between the design and construction teams.

Day to day, you’ll:

• Use Revit to navigate models, produce details and prepare mark-ups.
• Review and coordinate packages including walls, ceilings, doors and floors.
• Respond to RFIs and help resolve clashes or gaps in information.
• Maintain trackers and follow technical queries through to resolution.

You could be an Architectural Technician, Technologist, Architect or Design Manager. What matters is your experience producing detailed construction information, coordinating subcontractors and working through technical problems.

Revit is essential. Experience using 4Projects would be useful, as would a background in complex buildings, education, infrastructure or public-sector work.

You’ll need a suitable vehicle, be able to attend site consistently three days a week and obtain the required security clearance. Existing clearance would be an advantage.

The contract runs into 2027, with potential for an extension or a permanent opportunity, depending on project requirements and team growth.
