Project Architect

Konker is currently working with a well-established and growing Sheffield-based architectural practice who are looking to strengthen their team with an experienced Project Architect.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative design studio with over 30 years of experience delivering projects across a diverse range of sectors, including Education, Healthcare, Industrial, Science, Technology & Workplace, and Civic & Community. With two-thirds of their workload being in the Healthcare and Education sectors.

The successful Architect will have the opportunity to work across the full RIBA Stages, taking projects from early concept and design through to technical delivery and completion.

The role: Project Architect

• Working across RIBA Stages 1–7, from early concept through to technical delivery and completion.
• Taking an active role in developing and delivering medium to large-scale projects.
• Working collaboratively with clients, consultants, contractors and wider project teams.
• Supporting project coordination and helping to drive projects forward.
• Taking increasing responsibility for projects and working towards a Project Lead/Senior Architect position.

They’re looking for:

• A qualified Architect / ARB registered Architect with UK architectural experience.
• Experience working across multiple RIBA Stages.
• Previous experience on medium to large-scale projects.
• A genuine all-rounder, with experience across both concept design and technical/project delivery.
• Sector experience within Education, Healthcare, R&D Laboratories, Industrial or Science & Technology would be advantageous.
• Someone who is confident taking responsibility and seeing projects through to completion.

The Salary for this Project Architect role is between £35,000 to £45,000, Depending on your previous experience.
