Architectural Technician

Konker is working with a growing residential design consultancy that is looking to appoint an Architectural Technician/ Senior Architectural Technician to join its Technical team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience delivering technical packages for UK house builders who is looking to progress into a future project leadership role.

You will support the delivery of residential projects by producing detailed technical drawing packages and coordinating information with consultants, suppliers, and project teams. The role offers strong progression opportunities within a busy and expanding consultancy environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce technical working drawing packages and construction information
• Prepare house type, apartment, and external works layouts
• Coordinate consultant and supplier information into project designs
• Liaise with Building Control to resolve queries and discharge conditions
• Attend design team and site meetings where required
• Support Project Managers across multiple live residential projects

About You – Architectural Technician

• Experience within the residential housing sector
• Strong understanding of Building Regulations and NHBC standards
• Proven Revit and AutoCAD experience in practice
• Good technical and construction knowledge
• Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage workload effectively
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
• Experience coordinating supplier designs (desirable)
• Ability to produce detailed construction information (desirable)
