Architectural Technologist

Konker is currently recruiting for a well-established and growing Sheffield-based architectural practice who are looking to appoint an experienced Architectural Technologist.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative design studio with over 30 years of experience delivering projects across a diverse range of sectors, including Education, Healthcare, Industrial, Science, Technology & Workplace, and Civic & Community. With two-thirds of their workload being in the Healthcare and Education sectors.

This could be an excellent opportunity for a Technologist who is developing towards Project Lead or Senior Architectural Technologist level, with the chance to take on greater responsibility across projects.

The role: Architectural Technologist

• Producing and developing detailed technical and construction information.
• Working closely with Architects, clients, consultants and contractors.
• Coordinating technical information across multidisciplinary teams.
• Resolving technical and construction-related challenges.
• Taking increasing responsibility for project delivery and working towards a Project Lead/Senior Technologist position.

They’re looking for:

• An experienced Architectural Technologist / Architectural Technician with UK architectural experience.
• Strong technical and construction knowledge.
• Experience producing technical drawings and contributing to project delivery.
• Experience working on medium to large-scale projects.
• Sector experience in Education, Healthcare, Industrial, R&D Laboratories or Science & Technology would be advantageous.
• Strong BIM/Revit experience would be beneficial.
• Someone looking to progress towards Project Lead or Senior Architectural Technologist level.
• Excellent communication, coordination and collaboration skills.

The Salary for this Architectural Technologist role is between £35,000 to £45,000, Depending on your previous experience.
