Konker Group is working with a well-established, design-led consultancy that is looking to recruit a Senior Interior Designer to join its growing interiors team.
 
With around 80 people across the business and an interiors team of 11, you’ll be joining a collaborative environment where your experience will be valued, and your career will continue to develop.
 
The business in Manchester has built long-standing client relationships, providing an exceptional workload for years to come. This role has arisen to support one of their key client accounts, offering the opportunity to work on a variety of retail fit-out and rollout projects across the UK.
 
You’ll take ownership of projects from concept through to completion, managing programmes, liaising directly with clients and consultants, attending site visits and ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard. You’ll also play a key role in mentoring junior team members whilst working closely with the wider design team.
 
They’re looking for an experienced Interior Designer with strong technical ability, excellent communication skills and experience delivering commercial interior projects. Retail rollout or fit-out experience would be highly advantageous. AutoCAD is essential, while Photoshop and SketchUp would be beneficial. You’ll be confident managing multiple projects, building client relationships and coordinating project delivery.
